You must be 18 or older

The site and everything on it are for adults. If you are under 18, please do not use the site or send us anything.

If we learn that someone under 18 has sent us information, we will delete it.

General advice and entertainment

Everything on the site, in our emails, and in our videos is general dating and relationship advice and entertainment. It reflects the opinions of Taylor Young and her team.

None of it is therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice, and using the site does not create a professional relationship of any kind. You are responsible for your own decisions.

What you send us

When you send us something (quiz answers, profile screenshots, notes, or a Hotline question), you confirm that it is yours to share and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

Only upload screenshots of your own dating profile. Do not upload anyone else's profile, explicit images, or images of anyone under 18. We may reject any submission and delete it.

How we can use your submissions

You keep ownership of what you send us. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, and reproduce your Hotline questions in our content (videos, emails, the website, and social posts) without identifying you. We remove last names and details that could identify you.

We only feature your profile screenshots in content, such as a Profile Autopsy video, if you checked the box giving us permission. When we do, we hide your name and face.

Feature permission is optional. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@advicefromahotgirl.com. We will stop using your submission in new content. We may not be able to remove content that has already been published.

Profile reviews and AI

Free profile reviews are drafted by AI and then checked and edited by a person on our team before they are sent. Reviews are opinions. They may contain mistakes, and we do not promise any particular result.

Some of our videos use an AI version of Taylor Young, created with her consent. She scripts and approves what it says, and those videos are labeled as AI-generated on the platforms where they are posted.

Emails

When you give us your email for the quiz, the roast, the guide, the Hotline, or the newsletter, we will send you what you asked for and add you to our weekly email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

Affiliate links

Some links on the site and in our emails may be affiliate links. If you buy something through one, we may earn a commission. We only recommend things we would recommend anyway.

Our content

The videos, guides, text, logos, and design on the site belong to us or to Taylor Young. You are welcome to use them for your own personal use. Please do not copy, resell, or republish them without written permission.

Using the site fairly

Do not misuse the site. That includes sending spam or automated submissions, trying to get around rate limits, uploading harmful files, scraping the site, harassing anyone, or pretending to be someone else.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these terms.

No guarantees

The site is provided "as is." We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that our advice will get you matches, dates, or a relationship.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
